HEATHER WHITE – Massage Therapist
Hi, My name is Heather. I am a Colorado native and I love the outdoor experiences that Colorado brings. I love to go hiking, swimming, shooting, and just enjoy being outside with my daughter. I have been a massage therapist for 6 years now and I greatly enjoy my work. My greatest joy about my work is helping my clients relax and heal. I enjoy doing Prenatal and Warm Stone massages. I went to school at Healing Arts Institute and graduated with 500 hours in massage therapy.
MARLA LADUE – Massage Therapist
I love massage therapy because I get to help people. The power of human touch has an undeniable affect on the body, mind and spirit. I believe massage is an important part of overall health and wellbeing, but it’s only part. I also encourage stretching, exercise and posture to live a pain-free life. I’m always excited to share my knowledge with anyone who wants to start down the path to wellness. I’m also an eternal student of massage. There are so many different massage techniques, tools and practices to learn. I try to always expand my knowledge of bodywork through continuing education classes, books, videos and other massage therapists. One day, I hope to travel to Thai Land to learn Thai Massage from the masters. Warm bamboo is one of my favorite treatments, because it’s relaxing and therapeutic at the same time. I also enjoy Thai massage, because it addresses the body energetically through treating Sen energy lines and physically through stretching and holding pressure points.
I received my massage therapy diploma from the Allied Health Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2012. In school I was trained in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology and basic energy work. Since school I have been trained and certified in Table Top Thai Massage, Connective Tissue release, Warm Bamboo massage and MPS therapy (MicroCurrent Point Stimulation). On the days I miss the ocean, I go outside and look at the snow peaked Rocky Mountains. When it’s sunny and warm I’m outside hiking and biking around Fort Collins, or playing disc golf. When it’s snowy and cold I’m inside watching movies or reading a book.
